The Everbody blog is the discussion forum by everbodyshapewear.com, covering Colombian shapewear and related topics. Everbody began its journey when Tere Ferrari returned from her world travels where shapewear played an important role for her…

Tere’s story
Born and raised north of Seattle, Tere set off on a career adventure in her 20’s with the world’s largest international airline, based in Dubai. She travelled the world for years, experiencing diverse cultures and interacting with more nationalities than she could imagine. Throughout the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Africa, she witnessed firsthand how men tell women everywhere how to look. The airline epitomized this with their body mass guidelines: women flight attendants would be weighed and would be suspended if their body mass was higher than the airline wanted. Shapewear played a critical role in maintaining the prescribed appearance.
Finding the world’s best – Colombian shapewear
Many of the flight attendants wore shapewear to keep the prescribed look and avoid being weighed. Comfort and fit were always the #1 criteria. They needed garments that were breathable, comfortable, and performed well for long hours. Travelling to textile manufacturing centers throughout the Far East, South Asia, North Africa, and South America, the flight crew knew where to get the best shapewear. It always came from Colombia, expertly designed and manufactured without shortcuts.
The mission
When Tere left the airline and transitioned to life as a working mom, she took what she experienced and transformed it into a mission for positive change – a mission to empower all women to take charge of their own self-expression. Her goal was to curate and deliver a collection of the finest, sustainably produced shapewear available to women everywhere. She focused on sourcing shapewear from Colombia, ensuring no shortcuts in its production and no compromise in authenticity or quality, all at a fair price, for every body.
